For Immediate Release: MAKE A POSITIVE IMPACT WHERE YOU WORK! LET GOD TEACH YOU TO BE LIGHT IN THE WORKPLACE.

May 1, 2003, Clarksville, Maryland -- Are you experiencing difficulties at work due to the economy, the boss, or inconsiderate co-workers? Do you currently struggle to be the best that God has called you to be because of ineffective leadership on the job? Did you adequately prepare yourself for the job that you currently have? Do you often ask yourself, How can I make a difference where I work?" You are not alone.

In this extremely fast-paced society, todays workplace is plagued with multiple inefficiencies, scandals, problems, hostilities, and difficulties due to three primary reasons: The love of money, bureaucracy, and poor communication. Kevin Wayne Johnson addresses an important topic for society at-large: The importance of working for God, and not man. God has placed us in certain jobs to make a positive impact and to be light in the midst of darkness. The Scripture says, The entrance of thy words giveth light; It giveth understanding unto the simple (Psalm 119:130).".

Through his personal relationship with God, his work in the ministry, and his nineteen years working experience in the federal government and corporate America, from intern to the executive ranks, the author shares his experiences in the second book of this series of nine, Give God the Glory! - Called to be Light in the Workplace"(Release date: May 29, 2003; Price: $14.95; ISBN: 0-9705902-1-0; Paper-back original; 208 pages; Writing for the Lord Ministries, Clarksville, Maryland). This book challenges its readers to be 'light on their respective job(s) in each of the three phases of career progression: Entry-level (trainee or intern), journey-man level (middle manager), and senior level (executive or mentor). Gods Word ministers how to encourage others at work and influence positive change in the midst of frequently dysfunctional places of employment. Through the lives of Jesus, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Evangelist Billy Graham, and many other recognizable and unrecognizable names, excellence in their jobs raised the level of productivity of others. This book impacts the lives of blue- and white-collar workers. It is systematically divided into three parts, with three chapters each. Supported by the Scriptures throughout, the central theme of each chapter focuses on specific ways to let our 'light shine and to Give God the Glory! While at work everyday.
