Background Information
Let me introduce myself. My name is Paul Morabito. I am an Italian-American, born in 1973 in the state of New Jersey where I still call home today. While a young boy, I was taught to do my best at everything I attempted. Wanting to strive to be the best, I attempted to educate myself in as many topics as possible. Pursuing my initial interest in medicine, I found myself studying the practice of pharmacy at Long Island University in New York. Graduating from pharmacy school at the early age of 22, in 1996, I found myself soon chasing new endeavors and enjoying my life as well. Upon reading many pieces of fiction and nonfiction literature alike, I soon discovered my passion for the field of business, as well as for writing. My passion to learn as much as I could about the stock market has pressed me to adventure to New York City and obtain my stock broker licenses which consisted of passing the Series 7 and Series 63 tests. Passing these tests with flying colors, my love for the topic continued. It only made sense to find a way that I could share this newfound knowledge with the rest of the business world. This desire gave birth to my first book entitled Making Money in Today's Economy. In my first book, I introduce for the first time the Formula X rating system that I am truly proud of creating. Formula X is designed to help beginner and experienced investors alike. Never having the pleasure of writing a book before in my life, I soon fell in love with writing in general. This has led me to pursue a career in writing books. My life as a pharmacist continues, but every chance there is, I spend time writing. Upon completing my first book, I soon found the need to jump into the world of fiction fantasy novel writing. With my interest in the world of fantasy, I developed a concept titled Plane Hell that I felt would fit nicely into this genre. Since Plane Hell is now on the drawing board at Bookman Publishing, it came time to write and develop book two in the series. A QUICK LOOK
The Kingdom of Auria becomes flooded with an unknown source of demon-breed wandering the lands. FIRST BOOK EXCERPT RELEASE
"I have never seen such a thing, what can we make of this?" Bishop calls out to the rest of the party as he looks forward into the magnificent sea of crimson tainted wheat, which lay before him. Sparkling and glowing, the wheat radiates, casting a beautiful, but mysterious, crimson ray, which brightens up the darkened skies. A site is seen by them all, that is so beautiful that it masks its deadly inhabitants.
"This goes on for about three miles," Thorogood says.
"Does wheat usually spring from the ground with such a color?" Tauro asks.
"We must be careful. We are passing through Crimson's territory. These lands are tainted and stained with the blood of men. Come let's move,"Raven orders as he glances out into the crimson tainted fields, muttering quietly," I'm sorry old friend, who could have known about the curses? If we could have done it all over again, I would have chosen the crimson blade for you."
The fog rolls quickly throughout the land engulfing it and making it home. With visibility at a minimum, the warriors, although trained as advanced soldiers in strategy and war tactics, get confused by their current situation. Only the faint glow from the mysterious wheat fields give their eyes a break from the white rolling fog.
Warning the party, Lord Hetfield says,"I detect an evil presence."
"You are not afraid of any evil," Videon states.
"This evil presssssence is tainted with great magic," Takhisis says.
Prepare yourselves," Raven commands of his men.
Before the party can react, Thorogood and Bishop, who are alone near the front of the party, become easy prey. The sound of faint footsteps grows louder, as a grim crimson-like figure concealed in the shadows reveals itself before the pair. With a vision of death before them, they prepare for battle knowing that their foe seized the initiative. Raised above the tall wheat, sprakling rays of bloody crimson lights turn the sky a faint red, as the shape of the scythe becomes visible for the first time. The unearthly weapon of death comes swinging down in a wicked arc of accuracy and swiftness. Before Thorogood can react, the blade of death falls upon him. With an uncanny sharpness, the scythe slices its way through Thorogood with one quick slash.
Bishop hears the wretched sound of steel grating bone and soon after, the disconcerting thud as his companion's body drops to the ground as a helpless pile of flesh. He lay in his pile of death upon the unforgiving soil with his intestines ruptured and oozing blood.
The ghastly figure manages to disappear quickly back into the wheat field just before the rest of the party arrives.
