Cryonucleation- Power for Homes, Industry
New patent pending device virtually anyone can build produces from 40,000 to 500,000 ft-lbs of energy per cubic foot of water. No damage to water. No fuel required. Cryonucleator(tm) is patent-pending, from New Mexico inventor Dr. Dennis Hudson.
A New Mexico, USA inventor claims to have invented a device that extracts from 40,000 to 500,000 ft-lbs of energy from each cubic foot of water used. The water, he says, is left undamaged and completely reusable.
The device, called a "cryonucleator(tm)", relies on a common phenomenon usually regarded as a nuisance by plumbers and homeowners- the expansive force of water freezing to ice. The invention captures this force hydraulically and transfers it to run an electrical turbine.
According to inventor Dr. Dennis Hudson, the forces involved range from "about 3,000 psi at freezing, to around 30,000 psi a few degrees below zero (Fahrenheit). There's an expansion factor of about ten percent in this- and that creates tremendous power."
Hudson says the device, suitable only in freezing weather, never requires fuel. His website notes that the thaw side of the cycle is accomplished by a variety of natural methods such as solar collectors, streams, and what he calls "cool"
geothermal energy.
Besides powering homes and industry, an aerospace page on the site shows a cryonucleator(tm) in space.
Hudson prefers to license the invention to homeowners and businesses to build according to local requirements.
