Hollywood Prom 2003

Hollywood (PRWEB) June 18, 2003 -- On Saturday, June 21, 2003 Prom Fantasy 2003 Funky Fundraiser" will take place to benefit Greenway Arts Alliance and Fairfax High School. This Hollywood Prom a spoof prom night for us adults, is an opportunity to have fun and ensure that these programs have the funds they need to continue. There will be a raffle with great prizes, a fantastic band called Gold Fish (playing disco to glam rock), complimentary hors doeuvres and a champagne reception till 10p, a DJ spinning hits from the 50s to today, prom photos, corsages, surprise entertainment, and a fully stocked bar. Last, but not least, there will be a competition for Prom King and Queen, with the winners walking away with an amazing grand prize valued at $500.

GREENWAY ARTS ALLIANCE was initially founded ten years ago, as New Attitude Productions, by a group of actors who felt isolated and wanted to use theatre to reach out to other nonprofit organizations. They rented out small theatres and produced plays to raise money and awareness of community issues. Their group worked on behalf of the homeless, women's shelters, animals rescue and food drives.
