YOU EAT LIFE...OR LIFE EATS YOU -- MANO NIUHI LAUNCHES LINE OF SURF INSPIRED APPAREL FOR SUMMER 2003
Mano Niuhi announces the launch of new line of surf and beach apparel this summer. The four designs in the line are based on words from the Hawaiian language; "mano", which means shark or "passionate lover," and "niuhi" which means man-eating shark or "powerful warrior."
June 20, 2003--Mano Niuhi announced today the launch of its new line of surf-inspired clothing, sold exclusively through its website, www.mano-niuhi.com.
The apparel line is based on the Hawaiian words "mano" (MAH-NO) which means shark, and "Nuihi" (NEE-OOH-HEE) which means man-eating shark. The brands tag-line "YOU EAT LIFE...OR LIFE EATS YOU." reflects the attitude of the brand and those who wear it. "We think our products will appeal not only to the surfer set, but also to those individuals who really 'take a bite out of life,' so-to-speak," remarked company president and founder, Dave Plunkett.
Presently, Mano Niuhi offers four unique designs on a variety of apparel, including T-shirts, sweatshirts and tank-tops for men and women. Plans are underway to add additional designs throughout the summer. As well, the company intends to enter the retail marketplace for summer, 2004.
