David Aquilina and Colleagues Win Crystal Clarion Award
Association of Women in Communications Recognizes Trio of Corporate Communications Professionals for Excellence in Public Relations for HealthPartners, a Health Care Organization that Serves 670,000 Members in Minnesota
MINNEAPOLIS (PRWEB) June 23, 2003 -- David Aquilina, strategic storyteller, in collaboration with Sara McFee, director of corporate communications for HealthPartners, and Amy Pak, principal, Amy Pak, Inc., won a Crystal Clarion Award from the Twin Cities chapter of the Association of Women in Communications (AWC). Their award-winning entry was in the category of "Ongoing Public Relations Campaign for a Non-profit."
The award recognizes the excellence of a campaign to develop and publish stories on HealthPartners' success in quality improvement, disease prevention and health promotion for the health plans 670,000 members. In 2002, the campaign achieved 13 article placements (including six bylined articles) in national health care trade publications. To date in 2003, the campaign has secured six new article placements.
