KHAN & HILL, INC. is on a winning team for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Broad Information Technology Services II (BITS II) Government-Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC). Over the past few years KHAN & HILL has begun to carve out a recognized body of knowledge and skills within Federal Financials, User Support Services, Network Management, Information Security, Information System Strategies, etc. These are the areas of expertise that we are very excited to offer the FAA through BITS II.

In August of 1998, the FAA entered into multiple contracts with Small Businesses, 8 (PRWEB) June 22, 2003 -Owned, Socially and Economically Disadvantaged Businesses (SEDB) to provide comprehensive IT technical support services under the Broad Information Technology Services Contract (BITS). This contract evolved to become the contract vehicle of choice for many FAA departments and has expanded to become a generally accepted vehicle by which other federal agencies can obtain IT-based services quickly.

The BITS II contract was awarded in June of 2003. BITS II allows Government agencies to acquire state-of-the-art technical support services in a timely manner without going through a lengthy procurement process. Furthermore, BITS II will allow long term contracting for an expanded array of Information Technology services (engineering, technical, programmatic, and analytical) and telecommunication support services to support the FAA, the Department of Transportation and the Federal Government nationwide. Requirements include but are not limited to requirements analysis, design, programming, testing, and development of automated systems to support financial and program management goals, as well as FAA Government research and development efforts for intra/international telecommunications issues and airways system support.

The advantages to utilizing BITS II are numerous beginning with the reality that all of the Federal Government's IT requirements can be met using this vehicle. BITS II gives the federal government the full capabilities and broad expertise of large corporations without losing the specialized niche expertise" and responsiveness of small businesses. KHAN & HILL is delighted to be a part of the BITS II program.
