Temecula, CA --- Recording. The ultimate dream for any musician is to have the opportunity to officially record their work. This year, the 2003 Temecula Valley International Film & Music Festival (TVIFMF) slated for September 10th-14th is proud to announce Fender Museum of Music and The Arts (FMMTA) as a brand new sponsor who will fulfill that dream for a lucky winner of the TVIFMF Music Competition with a Platinum Recording Prize Package!
Were excited to be part of this years festival as we both share a mutual interest in helping independent artists emerge into the mainstream. Part of what we do at Fender Museum of Music and The Arts is help cultivate musical artists interests toward a career of expression by embracing the arts and a big part of all this is the recording aspect," states Jeff Marshburn, President of the Board of Directors. In addition to the exciting recording prize package, the Fender Museum will also provide the Roadhouse, an interactive trailer featuring a historical display of the famous Fender electric guitar on one side; and a live p.a. system hook-up with a chance for all festival-goers to grab a guitar and strum away!
Fender Museum of Music and the Arts Foundation is a 501C3 not for profit organization founded in July of 1997and is not directly affiliated with Fender Musical Instruments Corporation. And for the brand new 2-story 33,000 sq.ft. facility in Corona, California, which includes a 48-track digital recording studio, Studio FM and outdoor TLC Amphitheater -- education remains the heart of this museum. More than 5,000 students have passed through the doors in 5 years, with the gift of a free 16-week music education. This facility houses Kids Rock Free® classrooms which provide educational opportunities to learn piano, guitar, drums, bass, vocal performance and combo band classes... a blessing to California students who have watched music education dissipate in local schools.
This years 9th anniversary celebration of TVIFMF is taking place at Movie Experience 10 at Tower Plaza (25735 Ynez Road) is looking for music entries for all genres of music, from rock to jazz, pop, country and folk, etc. Entry deadline is July 30th.
TVIFMF features an endless schedule of events including Opening Night, Black Tie Awards Gala, and a non-stop showcase competition of American and International Film and Music and workshops. This five-day festival promises to be a rewarding opportunity for aspiring filmmakers and music fans to meet and learn first-hand about the business and see emerging styles of cinema and music from North America, South America, Europe, Asia, the Pacific Rim and other regions of the world.
