WB STATION NOMINATED FOR SOMETHING TO BELIEVE IN" AWARD
KWCV, WB33/Cable 5 has been nominated for the Something to Believe in" award from the WB Network. Approximately 100 WB affiliates from across the United States were reviewed and only 6 stations were nominated.
WICHITA, KS. (PRWEB) June 22, 2003 - KWCV, WB33/Cable 5 has been nominated for the Something to Believe in" award from the WB Network. A station qualifies for nomination by executing business fundamentals and practices deemed important and viable by the WB network to successfully build and grow a local television station. Approximately 100 WB affiliates from across the United States were reviewed and only 6 stations were nominated.
In addition to WB33/Cable 5 being chosen as a finalist for the award, General Manager, Eric Lassberg participated in the WB Networks 2003 Sales and Marketing Seminars. The seminars were presented across the United States in Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Dallas, Atlanta and Ft. Lauderdale. WB Affiliate General Managers and Sales and Marketing Departments from all over the United States attended the Seminars June 12-June 20. WB33/Cable 5 General Manager, Eric Lassberg discussed building local sales.
