Anti-War Game Supports UNICEF
Novel Games has released Novel Save, a challenging Windows game in which your mission is to help civilians find safety in a time of war.
The terrain is filled with obstacles, challenges, and dangers. Bombs, mines, and toxic gas threaten the civilians in your care. There are fires, traps, enemy soldiers, tanks, and walls that have to be negotiated.
As civilians run at various speeds onto the game field, you can drop arrows in their path to guide them to safety. Civilians can pick up tools that you can use to increase their safety. Shovels can dig out mines or remove walls. Sprayers remove toxic gasses. Water, rope, and metal plates allow them to circumvent other dangers.
Some of Novel Save's 50 levels require concentration and strategy, while others challenge your reflexes and good fortune. In addition to helping game characters escape the ravages of war, more than a quarter of the game's purchase price is donated to UNICEF, the United Nations' International Children's Emergency Fund, to help children who are the victims of real war.
Novel Save runs under Windows 95/98/Me/NT4/2000/XP. The cost for the 50-level game is $19.95(US), and Novel Games will donate $5 of your payment to UNICEF.
