One feisty Ex-Broadway performer turned "Raging Rocker" (Nicola), with 2 groovy "Nuyoricans on Drums & Bass (Rob "Dr. Clock" Williams & Jules "Bustelo" Rosaly)? Urban Alternative...Fiery Rock...Intensely Passionate Latin Soul? Well, whatever it is -- this phenomenon goes by the name of Nicola", and is certainly making quite a splash both nationally and internationally. Since the release of their latest CD "Real", this band has been climbing the charts and garnering major attention in the press as well as getting radio airplay and TV coverage with their energy, songs and sizzling sound. NY's Village Voice commented on Nicola's talent & undeniable energy with a description of "Jane Child via Melissa Etheridge". Nicola was recently featured as the top news story on Warner/Reprise Records A&R site "Flypaper" & VH1.com, and is a featured artist in the July 2003 Edition of WomenWhoRock Magazine, as well as IN-NYC's "Out on the Edge".
