DataBrowser v 2 Release
DataBrowser's new user interface has a tabbed page that displays multiple reports generated from a mixture of pre-saved queries and pre-saved reports.
The web page-based universal database Query and Reporting tool version 2 has just been released, with an enhanced user interface. Run multiple pre-saved queries against on-line databases and display them all on a tabbed page, and mix existing, saved, database reports with new queries.
Easily compare previous result sets with new results from the same database, with an existing saved query run against the live database. Or compare results from several sources - even databases from different vendors, and at different locations - by using the appropriate saved queries.
End-users build their own queries and reports from any database with an ODBC DSN, by selecting fields and values, within their access privileges, and SQL statements, from options in drop down HTML SELECT boxes. Queries are built
and tested by running them against live databases and then saved for re-use, or users can analyze databases any way they want by drilling down in data, and if they see something interesting, investigate further.
See the site at http://www.browseredit.com and try the online demo - it uses live databases and a real copy of DataBrowser, not canned graphics.
