Car Stereo Installer Creates First Video for the Do-It-Yourselfer

The first video designed to teach the average person to install their own car stereo has just been released. The video is designed with the non-professional in mind and only simple hand and power tools are used in the installation.

After 12 years of installing, a car stereo installer has created the first "all inclusive" video designed to help anyone install their own car stereo system.

Jason Bowlds, an MECP certified (MECP.org) Installer and Mobile Product Specialist, has just made available "How to Install Your Own Car Stereo System". The 50 minute video guide takes the viewer step-by-step through the process of installing head units, CD changers, amplifiers, speakers and the fabrication of custom speaker boxes.

"I wanted to create a video that could teach anyone to install their own car stereo.", states Bowlds. "All installation videos until now have been designed for professional installers. I felt a real need to reach out to the shadetree installers so they wouldn't have to struggle with their installations. I also know what its like to work without a shop so only simple hand and power tools were used in the video."
