New ecommerce software aims to put selling online within reach of the smaller business.
An ecommerce software has been developed by Coventry, UK based firm Surenames Internet Solutions Ltd that promises to significantly cut the cost and complexity associated with selling products online for businesses. By filtering out complex programming that is often involved in such projects, the company's ecommerce software package, BazaarBuilder allows businesses to start selling online within hours.
Normally, setting up an ecommerce website requires graphic designers to build the user interface as well as needing services of programmers to develop the complex backend software to drive the website. BazaarBuilder has successfully filtered out the programming aspect from the design process hence significantly reducing the cost and complexity of setting up ecommerce enabled websites. Initial feedback from professional web designers as well as customers who have set-up the ecommerce software on their own websites has been very encouraging" says the companys Managing Director, Kamran Khan. We have spent a long time in developing this software and its great to see some terrific ecommerce websites being built with it."
The software has been built specifically for the vast number of businesses that are making their traditional products available for sale via the internet. In many cases these businesses have already set-up a company website and now are taking the next step of allowing customers to buy products from their website.
The software includes many of the normal tools that managers will need to handle their online business such as order processing, sales reports and stock control features. Managers are provided with an easy to use control panel through which they can update product information.
