UP COMING RAP ARTIST LOOKS TO EDUCATE YOUNG PEOPLE ABOUT GANGS
Qizaar Records' Rap Artist Grayco to Shoot Video in Newark, New Jersey. Song is made exclusively "For Gangstas". Grayco: Say My Name See My Face -In Stores Now.
On June 28th, 2003, Qizaar Records will be shooting a video for the single from Grayco solo debut(Grayco: Say My Name See My Face). The single, entitled, For Gangstas, is a strong message for young people across the country who fall prey to the growing gang culture.
The video will be shot in Newark, New Jersey at Paradise Baptist Church, located at the corner of 15th Ave and Hunterdon St., Newark, New Jersey. Other locations include East Orange, NJ (North Maple Ave), Passaic, NJ (Hope and Quincy St).
The CD is currently in stores across the North and Southeast. The video has a dual purpose. One, it seeks to inform young people about the dangers of gang culture. It also looks to promote and market Grayco's album.
Grayco, born Kelvin Gray, is a southern born rap artist who is signed to Qizaar Records, Inc. -a Newark-based recording label. His current album has sold over 6000 copies and continue to do well in many areas. A tour is currently being set up and will start in weeks.
