Rock Spot Records Presents A Night of NYC Women Musicians

Rock spot records along with hussieskunk zine and Akasha Multi Media group are showcasing 4 bands, all having at least one female musician in each band.

Saturday July 12th is a special ladies night for musicians! Rock Spot Records teams up with Akasha Multi Media Group and Hussieskunk zine to showcase four of their best NYC bands, all of whom have a female member. The Matter will take the stage at 8PM, followed by Charm School at 9PM, Devil Kit at 10PM and Superthrive closing the show at 11PM.

These women do not mess around. The Matter, featuring Nina Interlandi on guitar, tips off the night with their tight and wicked sound. Next up is NYCs very own Charm School, Tina Pedersons vocals mix pop and punk for a punch! Then the powerful heavy sound of Devil Kit including ex-Bitchcat member Laurie and Helen Destroy of the Lunachicks. Ending the night at an early 11PM is the haunting heavy sound of Superthrive with lead guitarist Sue Karlik.
