Hawaiian Themed Program Features Kids Eat Free" Promotion and an All Day Summer Fun Pass"

(PRWEB) June 27, 2003 -- GameWorks, the high-tech entertainment, restaurant, and bar experience, is unveiling its annual Hawaiian Summer promotion throughout its flagship US locations, announced VP of Marketing, Clint Manny. The national program will be launched through aggressive radio, print, outdoor, direct email and mail, and location-based coupon distribution. The four-pronged national promotion is tailored to families with children and adults featuring the Kids Eat Free" meal program, the All Day Summer Fun Pass," game play packages, Thursday Happy Hour," and Hawaiian themed environment and menu items.

GameWorks second annual All Day Summer Fun Pass" program is designed as an easy all-inclusive summer attraction and escape for families at low prices," said Manny. The combination of Hawaiian theme, game play, and free GameWorks kids meals provides a cost-effective alternative to amusement parks or expensive vacations."

Kids Eat Free," the national programs anchor offering, features free meals for kids all summer long every Monday through Friday when accompanied by an adult meal purchase, and will showcase the venues all new summer menu. The GameWorks thematic summer menu choices include appetizers such as Lettuce Wraps, Coconut Shrimp and Teriyaki Chicken Wings plus entrees including Tropical Chicken Salad, Luau Fish Tacos, Hurricane Chicken, Hawaiian Pizza and Maui Burgers. GameWorks will integrate the summer long theme with the popular All-Night Happy Hour, complete with tropical drink specials and Hula contests for patrons 21 and over every Thursday night.

With the purchase of an All Day Summer Fun Pass," GameWorks patrons are entitled to unlimited video game play on hundreds of state-of-the-art games and attractions. Additionally the venues provide local competitions designed to encourage guests to compete with each other on games that are synonymous with summer, such as the popular Wave Runner, Water Ski and Rapid River games.

Throughout each of the GameWorks flagship and GameWorks Studio locations, crew members have been provided with special training on Hawaiian phrases for welcoming and interacting with guests to support the overall environment. We created our Hawaiian-style summer experience to be affordable for guests of all ages," said CEO Ron Lam, with great food, tropical drinks and the best games and attractions. We look forward to seeing our guests visit again and again all summer long."

Both South Florida locations are implementing a specially designed Hawaiian environment including Palm Trees, Tiki Torches, Hula Girl centerpieces and specially selected summer beach music. The venues will also air both Hawaiian music blocks, and specialty GameWorks TV (GTV) programming to connect all components of the venue and promotion.

The Hawaiian Summer Fun Pass" campaign is heavily promoted with unified creative through local media in each market including a massive outdoor campaign, offsite and partner promotions, and targeted radio and print outlets conveying the key messages. Collateral includes coupon giveaways at each destination, and jointly themed menus, advertisements and mail pieces. The national promotion launches in the Tempe, Ontario, Ft. Lauderdale (Sunrise), Miami, Tampa, Schaumburg, Las Vegas, Newport (Kentucky), Auburn Hills, Seattle, Columbus and Dallas GameWorks locations.
