MObfest turns out another group of favorites.
MOBfest showcases new "pop gothers" GRIGORI 3
Since the recent surge of "pop gothers" Evanescence many have turned to women rockers to step up and prove themselves...
At the recent MOBFEST ( 7th Annual- Music Over Business Festival)event performance,(JUNE 21st 2003)
New comers GRIGORI 3 did just that.
GRIGORI 3 performed before a full house at Chicago's US BEER CO and commanded the attention of the entire MOBfest audience- and got it! The night brought out many industry faces including Chicago personalities Scott Davidson (Rebel Radio WKTA) and Chicago's Disturbed producer Johnny K(GrooveMaster.)
As the music started the audience scramble to the front row. GRIGORI 3 's music jump started the audience into a frenzy when GRIGORI 3 vocalist Gwen Bartolini began to sing. At times Gwen enveloped the audience with her vocal melodic charms and chants and at other times nearly accosted them with her in your face strong staccato verses. The band played one catchy hit after another and through all the cameras flashing this band didn't miss a beat. Overall the GRIGORI 3 experience was hardhitting yet haunting -the music used elements of metal/goth even industrial -this band did not disappoint!
