KT Corporation Awards Kornet Express Metro Ethernet Project to CommVerge Solutions

KT Corporation (formerly Korea Telecom) has awarded CommVerge Solutions a project on Kornet Express, for the design, supply, integration and implementation of Laurel Networks ST200TM Service Edge Router.

Seoul, South Korea (PRWEB) June 28, 2003 -- KT Corporation (formerly Korea Telecom) has awarded CommVerge Solutions a project on Kornet Express, for the design, supply, integration and implementation of Laurel Networks ST200TM Service Edge Router.

Using CommVerges Metro Ethernet Solution, KT will be able to offer IP/MPLS VPN services to its enterprise customers, as well as ethernet-based high-speed Internet access as an alternative to its existing TDM-based service. Selecting only the best-of-breed products to support its solutions, Commverge has chosen Laurel Networks router to address KTs requirements for highly sophisticated security and Quality of Service features.
