New business opportunities in Israel for Telops

Quebec, Canada (PRWEB) June 28, 2003 -- Telops, a company specializing in the design and manufacture of optronic test systems, is proud to announce the signing of an agreement with an important partner in Israel, Ortec Marketing, Equipment & Supply Ltd. This will mean an increased presence for Telops in the Israeli market.

Ortec Marketing is a privately owned company, established and incorporated in 1987. Since that date, the company has focused its activity in representing manufacturers of assembly and production equipment for the electronics, microelectronics, semiconductors and optical fiber communication industries. Telops president, Jean Giroux, emphasizes that Ortec Marketing was chosen for its vast experience and knowledge of the optical fiber communication market. They also have a high notoriety in the photonics market."

The agreement, formally signed on June 10, 2003, will lead to the promotion of Telops and the development of its business relationships and service in Israel.

For its part, Ortec Marketing will benefit from Telops expertise in the areas of photonics components testing, burn-in, and characterization. Telops test and measurement products are designed to enhance device qualification and to simplify quality control. In these test equipment, the components are subjected to accurately controlled test conditions and are characterized using a series of optical, electrical and thermal measurements. Moshe Ort, General Manager at Ortec Marketing, sees Telops products as excellent complements to its line of products, currently offered to high power lasers manufacturers and to the industries of optical fiber communication components, semiconductors and microelectronics.
