This Web-based health awards is an extension of the HIRC's nine-year old National Health Information Awards (NHIA), the largest program of its kind in the United States. Last year, there were nearly 1,000 NHIA entries from hundreds of organizations.

Winners receive either a Gold, Silver, Bronze or Merit certificate, and use of the winner's logo for their Web sites and promotional materials. Winners will be announced in June, 2003.
