Quest Business Centers Reports Record Growth
Central Ohio's premiere meeting and conference facility reports record growth despite slumping overall hospitality and meeting market. The company president attributes growth to personalized services and leading-edge technology.
Columbus, Ohio (PRWEB) June 29, 2003 -- First-quarter sales at Quest Business Centers, central Ohio's premier meeting and conference facility, increased by 34 percent over the same period in 2002. Second-quarter sales are keeping pace with this upward trend.
Our growth is nothing short of phenomenal when you consider the soft demand in the hotel and hospitality industry as a whole," said Rob Harris, president of QUEST Business Centers. Since about 40 percent of those who attend events at QUEST come from out of town, QUEST is actually stimulating demand for sleeping rooms at partner hotels." Harris estimated that people attending QUEST events filled about 5,000 sleeping rooms in the first quarter.
Harris attributed the growth to QUESTs ability to accommodate a wide range of private sector, government, and non-profit events. It comes down to service," he said. People feel comfortable, knowing theyll get a high-end, consistent product every time they come in and all their needs will be met."
QUEST Business Centers opened in 1998 as the Training and Conference Center at 8415 Pulsar Place. This 12,000-square-foot technology-based facility was designed to accommodate small to medium-size meetings, computer training and videoconferences. Demand for the centers services flourished, and in August of 2001, the company changed its name and moved to its current 50,000 square-foot, freestanding facility in the Offices at Polaris Park" complex at 8405 Pulsar Place.
Harris noted that, as a result of strong revenue and profits, QUEST Business Centers continues to expand services offered and to enhance the quality of service.
In June 2002, QUEST added more than 3,000 square feet of meeting space and expanded its next generation" telecommunication capabilities to include videoconference and teleconference services, high-speed Internet access, and networked computer labs supported by Quest's Microsoft Certified technical support staff. In November 2002, QUEST added a 2,100-square-foot banquet facility.
Quests goal is to offer guests a one-stop meeting facility," Harris said. We take care of all the details so guests can concentrate on running their events."
Harris credits the centers growth to continually out-performing guests expectations. Repeat and referral customers make up the bulk of our business," he said.
Quest Business Centers is central Ohios premier meeting and conference center, with more than 22 meeting rooms and over 40,000 square feet of function space designed to accommodate events ranging from 12 to 375 or more guests.
