Dallas, TX (PRWEB) June 29, 2003 - A Mothers Charm TM, a designer and an online retailer of unique jewelry made especially for mothers, is set to host 100+ Ways You Can Afford Adoption." Free and open to the public, the seminar will be held at Park Cities Baptist Church on July 19, 2003.
The idea of the seminar grew out of a desire to help orphaned children find loving homes. Both of the founders of A Mothers CharmTM are adoptive mothers. To help children realize the wonders of being a part of a loving family, and help couples start or expand their families through adoption, the company designed a series of seminars.
Many agencies will participate with booths providing prospective parents information as well as four presentations. The presentation topics include: Adoption and Your Taxes; Foundations, Grants and Other Programs to Offset Your Cost; Different Ways Adoption Agencies Assist You Financially, (several agencies will discuss how they help families offset the costs) and Real Adoptive Family Fundraising Ideas for You.
The participating organizations include: iCare Foundation, Adoption -- A Gift of Love, Adoption Resource Consultants, Buckner International Adoption, Children Protective Services, Children and Family Institute, Christian Services of the Southwest, Gladney Center for Adoption, Hope Cottage Pregnancy and Adoption Center, Inheritance Adoptions, Safehavens of Kornerstone and Shoes for Orphan Souls.

About the Company
Two mothers, Kari Hunt and Ruth Ellen Heaton, who met in the process of adopting their sons in 2001, founded A Mothers CharmTM in September 2002. Their boys were good friends living in the same orphanage in Russia. Relishing the firsts" and other special moments with their newly expanded families, these career women and new mothers, who have a passion for philanthropy, decided to make another life altering change. They wanted to create a business that would provide mothers, especially adoptive mothers, a way to capture and converse about some of their precious motherhood moments, and make a difference in the world around them.
Utilizing the web, A Mothers CharmTM (www.motherscharm.com) is building a sense of community and charity. Ten percent of profits are donated to Buckner Orphan Care International, an organization that provides humanitarian aid to children globally. Additionally, the majority of profits generated by a new line of product, to debut in July, will be donated to Shoes for Orphan Souls.
