HotelShark Adds 12 Cities, 11 States, 4 Countries

In the first half of 2003, HotelShark added twelve major metropolitan areas, eleven U.S. states, and four countries to accommodate its growing collection of hotel reviews. HotelShark now has over 500 reviews of hotels in 38 American states and 27 countries.

PALO ALTO, CALIF. (PRWEB) July 1, 2003 -- During the first six months of 2003, HotelShark added twelve major metropolitan areas, eleven U.S. states, and four countries to accommodate its growing collection of candid, guest-based hotel reviews. HotelShark now covers hotels in 38 American states, plus the District of Columbia; and in a total of 27 countries.

Ten of the new cities are in the United States: Buffalo, Cleveland, Indianapolis, Kansas City, Memphis, Minneapolis, Nashville, Raleigh/Durham, Sacramento, and Salt Lake City.

The cities outside of the U.S. that were added are Dublin, Ireland and Bangkok, Thailand.

American states added to HotelShark during the period are Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Minnesota, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Ohio, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, and Utah.

Countries added are the Bahamas, the Cayman Islands, the Dominican Republic, and Thailand.

A city, state, or country is added to HotelShark when necessary to accommodate a new review. A review is published only after a contribution from a traveler has been researched and validated. HotelShark continues to discard well over half of all incoming contributions as insufficient or invalid.

HotelShark (http://hotelshark.com) now contains over 500 hotel reviews. Approximately 82% concern properties that are located in the U.S. and Puerto Rico, 3% are in Canada, 3% are in Italy, 3% are in Mexico, and 2% are in England. A total of 18% are located outside of the United States.
