Power Digital Communications Co., Ltd. (PDC) is starting to ship brand new car computing products, PDC168C SmartRider, to give the automotive aftermarket a heads up on what will soon arrive in stores.

(PDC) is starting to ship our new car computing products and we want to give you a heads up on what will soon arrive in stores. PDC assumes you have all seen the in-dash motorized touch screen display units that PDC have been selling the past three years. Each year we add more features and functions. PDC just finished reading this year's product information and am shocked at how much we have been able to fit in one in-dash unit. Car drivers no longer need numerous components and complicated installations everything is there in one unit.

PDC168C has a 7-inch touch screen, plays DVD-Audio/DVD-Video/CD-R/RW/Video CD/DTS CD and MP3's. In addition it supports advanced multi-channel sound formats such as Dolby Digital, DTS and Dolby Logic II. Moreover, you have your standard GPS antenna, GPRS/GSM reception, a build-in TV/FM tuner and the unit is Internet ready for advanced mobile office function. To top it off, it has a 4.8GB hard disk to be fully functional of real car computing system in vehicle.

PDC also has incorporated our mouted vehicle systems technology so car driver can have the freedom to listen to radio in the front while the passengers in the rear watch television or a DVD. PDC has used this technology and incorporated it into an in-dash unit with a motorized display since 2001.

PDC has created a new touch panel graphic interface. Car drivers can control audio and view functions by simply touching the screen. The full motion graphics are both intuitive and entertaining.
