Sparco Management, LLLP, an agribusiness/investment entity owned by Willard and Robert Sparks, and Greater Pacific Food Holdings (GPFH), with offices in Monterey and Sacramento, California, announced today that it has completed the purchase of MacFarms of Hawaii, Inc. from Blue Diamond Growers of California.

South Kona, Hawaii (PRWEB) July 2, 2003 - Sparco Management, LLLP, an agribusiness/investment entity owned by Willard and Robert Sparks, and Greater Pacific Food Holdings (GPFH), with offices in Monterey and Sacramento, California, announced today that it has completed the purchase of MacFarms of Hawaii, Inc. from Blue Diamond Growers of California. The terms of the transaction that formed MacFarms of Hawaii, LLC, were not disclosed.

MacFarms of Hawaii management and operations will continue in place and all existing employees have been hired by the new entity.

This combined ownership will avail MacFarms with additional skill sets and entrepreneurial experiences and also provide the company with a hands-on leadership group at the Board level," said MacFarms President Rick Vidgen.
