ARCH EXPANDS ITS STABLE OF COMPANIES BY ADDING TRIDENT.

TAMARAC, FL (PRWEB) July 2003 - Arch Aluminum & Glass the TRUE SINGLE SOURCE for the glass & glazing industry has added another player to its lineup. In acquiring Trident Consolidated Industries, Arch brings a major player in the Southern California market to its family. Trident with tempering, insulating, spandrel, laminating and its proprietary all glass entry door line is in the same mold as Arch being a single source supplier to the glazier and glass shop. According to Arch President & CEO Leon Silverstein a lot of similarities made this deal easy; We have very comparable cultures, were both family owned businesses and we share the same beliefs in treating our customers and employees well."

Trident was founded in 1966 by Walter Kastaniuk, currently run by his son Alex, a 37 year veteran of the glass industry. Alex Kastaniuk is very excited about the new beginnings with Arch Aluminum. Im thrilled about the setup; I feel that itll be great for both parties. Our backgrounds fit well and now we will build on this and become a much bigger presence on the west coast." Alex Kastaniuk and his management team will continue to run the operation and it will still be known as Trident.

Arch already has a full service location in Phoenix (AZ) and a mirror operation in Newark (CA) and now adding a full service facility like Trident to the mix allows Arch to continue to expand its products and services to that part of the country.

Bringing in Archs manufacturing expertise and the core philosophy of being a high quality, cost efficient manufacturer, Arch will immediately implement the systems necessary to improve quality, service, lead-times, and the overall plant process. Arch will also be doing some major upgrading to the equipment at Trident as well. Adding one of North Americas largest tempering furnaces (130 x 220) and updating equipment on the insulated line and throughout the plant are first on the list.

One of the keys to this deal are Tridents high-end all glass entry doors. Trident features high end fully cladded doors both seamless and non seamless. These doors are the ultimate choice for monumental or unique entrances. Arch will now have the ability to offer these through their locations nationwide.
