Oakville, ON (PRWEB) June 25, 2003 -- (http://www.brontesda.org/pr4.pdf) Bronte Seventh-day Adventist Church announces the 2nd annual A Mid-Summers Night Concert" -- to be held Sunday at 3PM on Oakvilles Coronation Park stage. In consideration of West Nile Virus it will be an afternoon concert this year.

Everyone is invited to enjoy this free outdoor variety concert featuring the hit band from last year Promise" which, with its jazz roots, became a crowd favourite. Singers from the weekly It Is Written television show, soloist Isabel Santos, the Bronte Church Choir, and more will fill the 50-foot wide outdoor stage. Special selections from the musical Prayer of Jabez" will be performed by the Bronte Church Youth Performers.

Approximately 12 performances will be presented by the co-hosts for the evening, an encore from last year -- Roy Lewis, Actor and Director (Stratford Festival, Shaw Festival, various television and movie appearances) and Bronte Churchs own Ruth Avelino.

This concert is for everyone who enjoys great Christian music. A Mid-Summers Night Concert was planned to be an annual event to showcase some of the best Southern Ontario Christian music artists who have been guests at Bronte SDA Church," said Scott MacDonald, Event Manager. the Village of Bronte. The parks entrance is off of Lakeshore Road between 3rd Line and 4th Line (west of downtown Oakville).
