BC Epilepsy Receives Single Largest Donation This Year from ASEAN

ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations)s Vancouver Committee donates $15,000 to BC Epilepsy

(PRWEB) July 4, 2003 -- ASEAN's $15,000 donation to BC Epilepsy follows on the heels of an Epilepsy Awareness campaign spearheaded by a Youth Team of volunteers. ASEAN discovered BC Epilepsy at the Vancouver Oakridge Mall information table hosted by volunteer youth in March 2003.

ASEAN's generous donation of $15,000 is the single largest donation to BC Epilepsy this year. The donation is part of the proceeds of ASEAN's annual Golf Tournament raising money for local and international charities, while providing networking opportunities for ASEAN and friends of ASEAN. The 2002 tournament was chaired by Zenaida Tacorda-Rabago, Consul General of the Philippines.

BC Epilepsy Society provides resources, support, programs and services to the 40,000 people in BC living with epilepsy.
