(PRWEB) July, 2003 -- Paul Sabu (the legendary hard rock guitarist, singer, and producer) has joined forces with Steve Brownlee (veteran Los Angeles based A&R/promoter, who has worked with bands such as Joshua, Silent Rage, Motley Crue, Great White, and Ratt, among others), to form a new independent label to release special projects worldwide. The yet-to-be named entity will specialize in classic hard rock, melodic AOR, and progressive rock acts, as well as collectible sound recordings by several established artists.

The first release to be issued by the label is Shania Twain (featuring Paul Sabu) Among My Souvenirs. This is a collection of songs co-written and performed by Paul and Shania during the infamous Deerhurst Sessions back in 1998-1991. Unofficial, un-produced copies have seen the light of day before now......but this is the first OFFICIAL issue of these recordings, painstakingly remixed this year by Paul Sabu and mastered by Arnie Acosta (U2, Pink Floyd, Bonnie Raitt). The CD will be available in August 2003 with a DVD version due out sometime before Christmas.

Although famous for her blend of pop and country, Shania Twain proves shes a rocker at heart with the release of Among My Souvenirs. Reminiscent of the hard rock stylings of Heart and Melissa Etheridge, the ten songs featured on the CD will appeal to her current fans as well. Backed by Paul Sabu on guitar and vocals, the production is world-class....as fans of SABU have come to know.
