Poetry Galore... New Site Added to Family of Award Sites!

New site by Award Sites! that showcases original poems and short stories along with novels by new authors in multiple categories. Forum available for discussion. Enjoy being ... "bathed in words of waking dreams!"

(PRWEB) July 5, 2003 -- David Bancroft, president of the Award Sites! family of sites, would like to announce that Poetry Galore at http://www.poetrygalore.com has opened its doors recently. David Bancroft explains...

"Poetry Galore's concept came about somewhat through chance. After writing my first poem for USA Patriotism! (http://www.usa-patriotism.com), I came across an interesting individual, Denny Lancaster, who liked my poem and encouraged more. I then discovered that this well-established tax attorney's talent extended into poetry, as well.

However, the only way to use his poems and other poets like him required a separate site, since USA Patriotism! was limited to patriotic poems. Poetry Galore was the result with Denny joining its staff as Services Manager.

This site should appeal to all who enjoy reading, as it has three main features . . . Original Poems, Novels by New Authors, and Short Stories. It also has a resources section that includes other literary and arts, online education / learning, and reference / library (medical, healthcare, public, college, and special).

In fact, this free service site has quickly found its niche within its first month including over 100 'original' poems listed in 19 categories . . . with the first Poem of the Month being announced in early-July. And while an English version is required, poets from other countries can also have their poems listed in their native language if they provide the translation with submission . . . with all receiving a contributor's badge for display on their site . . . We even anticipate exceeding a thousand listed poems in a very short time frame.

The already established Novels by New Authors feature, which was transferred from Award Sites! (http://www.awardsites.com), currently has 21 categories with many novels, which include the author's name and detailed description along with most having links that take the reader to more in-depth information.

Moreover, the Short Stories feature, which was just added, has a word limit between 500 to 2500 words. We believe there is a wealth of interesting stories that will be submitted.
