International Pop Overthrow Descends Upon Las Vegas

The International Pop Overthrow Festival Los Angeles will be kicking off for two nights in Las Vegas at the Palms Hotel. A2 Productions will be hosting the event on their Acoustic Asylum and Wired nights. A live Internet television show thanks to our friends at www.nowstream.com will cover the event.

July, 2003 -- The International Pop Overthrow Festival will be taking over yet another major entertainment city, our beloved Las Vegas. The town that Sinatra sang about so many times is about to be "overthrown" by pop music on Tuesday, July 15th and Wednesday, July 16th at the world famous Palms Hotel inside the Palapa Lounge. The two evenings will be a kick-off party to launch the Los Angeles IPO Festival which begins on Friday, July 18th. American and International bands will be featured on some of L.A.s finest venues

IPO (as it's been affectionately called for the last few years) is an annual two-week event which takes place three times a year in three separate cities; Los Angeles, New York City and Chicago. Now the International Pop Overthrow stakes its claim in Vegas, and its going to be a hell of a lot of fun. If you think the word pop" means Britney and Christina, youre wrong. This festival will rock!

The artists scheduled to perform at the Vegas shows are among the finest from the Los Angeles and Las Vegas music scenes. Show line-ups will be:
