Outdoor Movie Drive-in on The Santa Monica Pier, Raising Money for "Cinema Fighting Cancer" - The Santa Monica Film Festival (www.smff.com).

Who: The Santa Monica Film Festival (www.smff.com) and their charity Cinema Fighting Cancer". Our events have been attended by stars such as Dennis Hopper, Thora Birch, Sandra Bullock, Penelope Spheeris, Bill Paxton, Lou Diamond Phillips, Griffin Dunne, Liz Phair, Talia Shire, Jason Schwartzman, Genevieve Bujold, Rachael Boston and Arlen Escarpeta (NBCs American Dreams), Alan Rudolph, Kit Carson and many more. What: The Santa Monica Film Festival and its charity Go Deep: The Cancer Relief Fund" present the first annual Santa Monica Drive In at the Pier. This summer, we are screening classic films such as Grease", Jaws", Endless Summer" and The Sting". Major Stars from the films and other television shows and films will be in attendance for the event, all in attendance for the same cause, our charity Cinema Fighting Cancer". All money raised from the event will go directly into the hands of cancer victims and their families during their time of need. DEFMAN (Deep Ellum Film, Music, Arts and Noise Inc, 501(c) 3) runs The Deep Ellum Film Festival (www.def2.org) as well at The Santa Monica Film Festival (www.smff.com).
