New independent label based in Houston, Texas releases it's first album

Releases first Teen Group CD, July 15th, 2003

Platinum Globe Entertainment, a new independent label based in Houston, Texas, released its groups (Platinum Status Superstars) first CD entitled, Platinum Season" for internet purchase on July 15th, 2003 and at all FYE stores across the country.

The stated mission of the new company is to become a leader in the entertainment industry in its region and hopefully the country by giving artists a chance to be heard and giving the fans what they've always wanted, "an album filled with great tracks from start to finish." There are too many artists with international stature who just sell albums by name recognition only (6 quality tracks out of 16-19 tracks) and the fans loose out at the end on the checkout stand. This is the void we as a label are trying to fill as we progress forward.

Platinum Status Superstars CD titled Platinum Season", is a mixture of Hip-Hop/rap, containing 18 original tracks and one bonus track by a 10 year old by the name of "Lil Benz." It has thus far been receiving favorable responses from the urban underground and college & commercial markets throughout the South region.

The CD is a mixture of musical works from up and coming urban artists, including:

Kartier:
A 18 year old rapper who has extensive prior performance experience on a regional basis and production skills to match

Y-Boss:
A 18 year old rapper who brings the street credibility to the group and the catchy hooks on the album

Young Adonis:
A 17 year old male rap artist whose writing skills and stage presence just keeps getting better with time

The official street release date for this CD is July 15th, 2003 however the label has recently negotiated an exclusive distribution deal with The Orchard located in New York.
