abas Business Software receives best score from users

The Konradin publisher and the magazine Computer@Produktion ERP study has been carried out yearly since 1999. It is now an established study. There are not many studies which go into such detail when it concerns ERP systems and satisfaction with the solution installed. For the current study over 1,500 users were questioned by the market research institute Förster&Thelen. In comparison: Similar ERP studies often base their results on less than a quarter of this amount of interviews. For the second consecutive time the ERP user gave the Karlsruhe software providers, ABAS, first place in the category for Satisfaction with the implemented ERP solution".

Best score for abas Business Software
Werner Strub, managing director of the ABAS Software AG makes the point: „Customer use and quality is the highest priority for ABAS and the abas Software Partners." The last ERP study 2003 by Konradin publishing confirms this. In the 'Satisfaction with the implemented ERP solution abas Software had the best result. To evaluate the level of satisfaction, 15 of the most commonly used ERP systems in Germany were asked. The users gave the marks (1= very good, 6 = unsatisfactory). abas Business Software is at the forefront when it comes to users evaluation of user-friendliness, performance in practice, stability and the price/performance relation. Also, when the service performance was being evaluted (helpdesk quality, upgrade support, support during implementation, contact persons, training courses, branch specific consultation) abas Business Software were in first place. Another two positions in second place" in the area of adaptability and openness to integration of further modules of the implemented ERP system, resulted in ABAS and partners gaining a total score of 1.97, which gave them first place.

ABAS also did well concerning name recognition within the German industry. The value increased by 5.2% compared to 2002. With 47.8% ABAS has established itself in the Top Ten" of the most important ERP manufacturers of the world.

30% less implementation time
The implementation of an ERP system requires data administration and user capacity. This often leads to substantial costs. A special implementation method similar to that which ABAS and the abas Software Partners have developed helps to save in this area. The ERP study confirms: Compared to the branch average of 9.8 months, abas Business Software takes an average of 7.4 months to implement. In 50% of the companies the implementation is complete within 3 to 5 months.

ROI achieved in a shorter period
The price/performance relation of a system contributes greatly to a quick ROI. The users also give ABAS first place for the price/performance relation. According to the ERP study, the average investment sum for all implemented ERP solutions in industrial businesses from 50 employees came to 424,000 EURO. Three quarters of the businesses invest less than 250,000 EURO when implementing abas Business Software. No other provider of business software could produce figures like this!
