The Borenstein Group, a performance-driven creative advertising and public relations agency, announced today that it won the distinguished APEX Award for Publications Excellence for the design of its clients web site, Innovative Business Technology (IBT) at www.ibtnet.com.
(PRWEB) July 10, 2003 -- The Borenstein Group, a performance-driven creative advertising and public relations agency, announced today that it won the distinguished APEX Award for Publications Excellence for the design of its clients web site, Innovative Business Technology (IBT) at www.ibtnet.com. APEX is the Annual Awards for Publication Excellence Competition.
It is open to communicators in corporate, nonprofit and independent settings. This is the fifteenth annual APEX, which began in 1988. APEX Awards are based on excellence in graphic design, editorial content and the ability to achieve overall communications excellence. With close to 5,000 entries, competition was exceptionally intense.
In its award announcement, APEX reported that The Borenstein Groups IBT web site was selected from 545 submissions received in the Web Site Design category.
The panel of judges for APEX 2003 included John De Lellis, Concepts Editor and Publisher, Christine Turner, Contributing Editor of Writing That Works, and Dr. Paul Fisher, Concepts Senior Evaluator and formerly Professor of Journalism with the University Of Missouri School Of Journalism. APEX awards are based on excellence in graphic design, editorial content and the success of the entry--in the opinion of the judges--in achieving overall communications effectiveness and excellence.
APEX is sponsored by the editors of Writing That Works, the newsletter for communicators who write, edit and manage business publications. Writing That Works is published by Communications Concepts, Inc., providing problem-solving information to professional communicators since 1984.
Innovative Business Technology, a leading full-service IT solutions provider, challenged technology-marketing savvy's Borenstein Group to help visually and strategically articulate its unique service brand proposition of providing solutions that help businesses maintain a fine balance between their IT needs and their management and budget objectives. After analyzing what corporate decision makers seek when they go online in search of an IT solution provider, The Borenstein Group developed a new web site that succinctly conveys key solutions and problems in one read.
Leveraging of the newly created "Balance IT" metaphor, a brand multimedia commercial further introduced IBT's core message of balance to prospects in search of a company that understands their needs.
The APEX award announcement is the second award that IBT received this year for its revamped web site. It also recently won the prestigious 2003 ADDY award by The Advertising Club of Metropolitan Washington.
