Nationally Recognized Nutritionist and member of American Dietetic Association Appointed To NutriSmart USA Weight Loss Program

NutriSmart USA L.L.C. appointed Claudia Gonzalez as the companys Director of Nutrition. Gonzalez will work closely with NutriSmart USA as it pursues several revenue-sharing partnership opportunities with television and cable television channels. For years, she has appeared on Univisions Despierta America, Telemundo, and many other networks where she offers nutritional information and advice to 20 million Hispanic households.

(PRWEB) July 10, 2003 -- David E. Hammer, President of NutriSmart USA L.L.C. appointed Claudia Gonzalez as the companys Director of Nutrition. Currently, Ms. Gonzalez is a nationally recognized Hispanic nutritionist who is a member of the American Dietetic Association, the Florida Dietetic Association, and the Miami Dietetic Association. She is also a licensed dietitian with the State of Florida.

Her credentials are stellar," Hammer stated. Gonzalez, 40, has developed an outstanding reputation as a licensed nutritionist and dietician for more than seven years in Miami, Florida. In addition to her membership in the American Dietetic Association, Claudias curriculum vitae includes numerous projects with large international food companies and institutions."

During the last year, Ms. Gonzalez collaborated and co authored NutriSmart USAs soon-to-be released book, Finally! NutriSmart--The Real Weight Loss Solution", which will initially be available in English and Spanish. We are highly confident that Ms. Gonzalezs contribution to our program will be significant. Ms. Gonzalez is known as the 'nutrition expert by the U.S. Hispanic population, now the largest minority in America, which recently climbed to 38.8 million.

For years, she has appeared on Spanish-speaking television where she offers nutritional information and advice to 20 million Hispanic households. As a result of her outstanding reputation, Univisions Desperieta America, Telemundo and other television and cable channels have called on her to address their audiences," Hammer noted.

As Director of Nutrition and national spokesperson, Gonzalez is responsible for the quality of the nutritional information and advice presented disseminated to dieters using NutriSmart USAs books, publications, Web sites or television broadcasts.

We expect Claudia will also play a very important role in our 'corporate program too. Very soon, well be interfacing with managers of health and benefits at large U.S. corporations and consulting firms which render advice to U.S. corporations concerning their employee health benefit programs, where obesity-related health care costs have reached $12 billion annually.

In the past, Claudia has worked with some of the largest international food companies. Implementing effective plans for tens of thousands of corporate employees is just the flip-side of the food company coin," Hammer mentioned. When asked if NutriSmart USA is principally focused on the U.S. Hispanic population, Hammer responded, absolutely not. Hammer explained that his Web site, www.nutrismartusa.com already features a provision for several additional languages including French, German, Italian and Portuguese, which Hammer expects to be available by the end of 2003. Obesity is an international epidemic. NutriSmart USA and our affiliates plan to accommodate the one billion overweight people around the world by making the NutriSmart weight loss program available in many countries and in several languages. Beginning August 1, 2003, Claudia Gonzalez will enter NutriSmart USAs multimedia marketing campaign to promote its weight loss program.
