Temecula Artist Gabriele Baber's art is selected to be the signature art for not one but two local festivals and a book cover for a coffee table book depicting Temecula Valley.

Gabriele's art work was selected for the Temecula Valley Arts in the Country Festival which ran from April 28-June 28th 2003. Her art work was also selected to be the signature art for the 2003 Temecula Valley Balloon and wine fest held at Lake Skinner in Temecula. The vibrance of her work has caught the eye of a local book publisher working on a coffee table book about Temecula Valley. Gabriele's work will be on the cover.

Temecula artist Gabriele Baber, born in Lendersdorf Germany has made a big splash in her community, the Southern California wine country of Temecula Valley. After moving to Temecula three years ago, Gabriele began a wine country series in a variety of mediums, oil, watercolor and Acrylic depicting the beauty of the Temecula Valley and surrounding areas. Her wine country series includes painting of the Napa Valley as well as some aviation pieces, specifically hot air balloons and General aviation aircraft. Recently Gabriele has recieved local acclaim with two of her art works. "Vineyard Melodies", a watercolor of a guitar placed amoung blooming flowers under grape vines was seen to depict the beauty mood of the Temecula Valley. So much so that is was selected by the Temecula Valley Arts Council as the signature art for the Temecula Valley Arts in the Country.

Another of her paintings, an acrylic, "Balloon and Wine 2" was selected to be the poster for the "20th annual Balloon and Wine Festival" held each year at Lake Skinner in Temecula. "Balloon and Wine 2"is an exiting piece in a wine bottle motif with blue tones of Hot air balloons floating over the Temecula Valley.

Later in the year Gabriele's work will be on the cover of a new coffee table book that will be available in book stores soon.

Gabriele teaches classes for children and adults through the community services dept as well as her home studio.

With the sucess of her recent work Gabriele has begun to self publish and has recently released three new prints that are available on her website www.gabrielebaberart.com
