Pilots have to go through it to survive, why dont business owners?

Before a professional pilot is allowed to fly in the company's million dollar planes, they have to go through and pass simulator training. But business owners don't have that luxury, until now.

St. Louis, July (PRWEB) July 12, 2003 - Owning and running a business can be a daunting task, especially in todays economy. Many businesses are having trouble making ends meet and theyre laying people off, which makes the economy even worse.

Business owners are constantly under the gun to come up with new and innovative ways to make their business survive in these turbulent times. But many businesses dont dare try them in the fear that if it doesnt work, it will kill their business. Now theres a safe and fun way to try out new techniques.

Before an airline pilot is allowed to fly those multi-million dollar planes, they have to go through extensive training on a simulator. They are tested with as many potential problems a plane could ever encounter to see how well they would handle it. Many times the pilot 'crashes the plane, but they can easily pick themselves up from the ground and try again.

But businesses have not had this option in their business career until now. T. Stephen Anderson, 'The Profit Doctor stated I have been a pilot in the past and I know the value of this simulated training. It saved me in several instances from crashing my plane for real.

I was prepared for the problem I encountered. Because I have been a business trainer and consultant for the past 15 years, I have seen many businesses that did not want to take any chances in the fear it would not work and have an adverse affect on their business.

So Ive assembled 18 different business simulation games to let business owners test new skills in a safe environment. Ive even added a few games managing a professional baseball or football team, so the business owners can have fun and reduce their stress."

These 18 business simulation games are:

   1) Financial Management
   2) Workforce Planning
   3) Project Management
   4) Supply Chain Management
   5) Multiple Products Marketing
   6) Pricing Strategies
   7) Productivity and Service Capabilities
   8) Managing the Oakland As Baseball team
   9) Business Development Strategies
   10) What is the True Cost of Your Business Travel
   11) Developing Environmental Policies
   12) Process Dynamics in Business
   13) Managing Product Profits in a Changing Market
   14) Managing a Professional Football Team
   15) New Product Development and Management
   16) Brands Management
   17) New Product Roll Out
   18) How To Become a Gazillionaire

These simulation games have been around for some time and have been used in some of the top business schools in the country, but I have made them available to the general business community. I wanted small business owners and managers to try out their skills in running various aspects of their business in a safe and fun environment." Anderson stated.
