Carona to Update North Dallas Chamber on the Texas Legislature's 2003 Special and Regular Sessions
The North Dallas Chamber of Commerce's monthly Hot Topics/Cool Lunch series will host John Carona, Texas State Senator, July 17, 12 to 1:30 p.m., at the chamber's office, 10707 Preston Road, Dallas. Carona will review the events from the 2003 regular session and provide an update on the current special session. Registration is $5 per person for chamber members and $10 for non-members.
DALLAS (PRWEB) July 12, 2003 - The North Dallas Chamber of Commerce's monthly Hot Topics/Cool Lunch series will host John Carona, Texas State Senator, July 17, 12 to 1:30 p.m., at the chamber's office, 10707 Preston Road, Dallas. Registration is $5 per person for chamber members and $10 for non-members.
"Senator Carona's perspective as a business owner and his experience as a legislator are of particular interest to the North Dallas business community," said Stephen Taylor, President, North Dallas Chamber of Commerce. "Knowing what the legislature did and did not accomplish gives businesses a better idea of how they need to adjust their business plans so they remain viable."
Hosting Sen. Carona is part of the chamber's on-going efforts to provide its members with information on the best practices that so they can do business more effectively and profitably.
In addition to the Hot Topics/Cool Lunch series, the North Dallas Chamber sponsors several networking monthly events, including A.M.
