Santa Barbara Church Broadcasts Services via Internet

Now people who cannot attend services can easily view and participate in the service, wherever they may be.

Santa Barbara, California (PRWEB) July 12, 2003 -- The Santa Barbara Seventh-day Adventist Church today announced live Internet broadcasting of its worship services. This church is the first and the only one in Santa Barbara that offers live and recorded services via the Internet. Geographical locations, bad weather conditions and physical limitations are among the many reasons why some people cannot personally attend church services.

Today, families and friends are widely dispersed all over the world. Now, with the new technology, we can include people who are unable to take part in our services," said Pastor Pete Geli, the senior pastor at the Adventist church.

In response to Jesus request that we go into all the world and preach the Good News to all creation, the Santa Barbara church family wants to fulfill this mission to hasten the day of Christs coming" continued Pastor Geli.
