Peerless Price scores one for Operation Kidsafe"    

(PRWEB) July 10, 2003 -- Peerless Price, the outstanding wide receiver of the Atlanta Falcons has signed an agreement to become an endorser of Operation KidSafe, a child security and identification system that allows law enforcement agencies to track missing children.

The deal calls for the use of Mr. Prices image and name in advertisings that will assist the Operation Kidsafe program in Atlanta and other cities. The deal was negotiated by publicist Rohan Sutherland of Genesis Marketing and Promotions, LLC, a sports marketing and public relations firm located in Boca Raton Florida and Mark Bott, President of Community Concepts, Inc, whose central headquarters is in Springfield Illinois and is responsible for the development of the KidSafe program.

Over 3000 children are reported missing each and everyday in the United States. Most are found within minutes or hours and have happy endings. Operation KidSafe allows parents to take their children to various stations across the country to be processed. At these stations, a childs picture is digitally taken and stored into a computer.

The child later has his/her fingerprints scanned into the same computer that allows for proper identification. Parents are later educated on the various steps and emergency procedures they should follow should their children be reported missing.

Peerless Price had an outstanding campaign last year while playing for the Buffalo Bills. He was among the leaders in the NFL in receptions, touchdowns and yards while teaming up with Eric Moulds to form one of the best past catching duos in league history. He won a national championship at the University of Tennessee and was taken in the second round (53rd overall) of the 1999 draft.
