A Hot Bay Area Summer Salsa Series continues with a Summer Salsa Dance Celebration in the South Bay!

San Francisco. The weather in San Francisco may not be hot during the summertime, but -- thanks to thousands of salsa dance aficionados -- the city will be cooking with the sounds of salsa music and Latin jazz as the second annual Summer Salsa Dance Series continues with a celebration on Saturday, August 9th at The Edge Supper Club in Palo Alto. The club, which is located at 260 South California Street, is open to both singles and couples, experienced salsa dancers and novices, at a cost of $15 at the door.

The Summer Salsa Dance Series Celebration begins at 7:00 pm with dance lessons offered by some of the top salsa dance instructors in the Bay Area. Later on in the evening, the hottest Bay Area salsa orchestra, Orchesta Borinquen, will perform, and there will be exhibitions by professional salsa dancers before the floor is opened up for dancing," according to Evan Margolin, who organized the summer-long series, which promotes salsa dance and Latin Jazz throughout the Bay Area.
