Everbee Networks xNSPTM Achieves ICSA Labs IPSec VPN Certification

xNSP Independently Verified Under Industrys Most Rigorous Security Tests

Paris, France (PRWEB) July 14, 2003 -- Everbee Networks (www.everbee.com), a trend setting provider of integrated all-in-one network security software delivered on a versatile, plug-and-play silicon platform, today announced that its xNSP integrated network security processor has been awarded Internet Protocol Security (IPSec) Virtual Private Network (VPN) certification by ICSA Labs®, a division of TruSecure Corporation® and the industry's standards body for certifying network security products. xNSP met the ICSA Labs' stringent network security tests by passing certification criteria designed to assure that cryptography is resistant to attacks which in turn protects the networks of residential, SOHO and enterprise users.

xNSP provides a high-speed OS-independent security platform and includes support for firewall, VPN, advanced intrusion detection and prevention, content inspection, remote access and wide-area network access devices. xNSP can be used as a standalone solution or remotely managed by a server.

ICSA Labs examined and tested xNSP under the Version 1.0B Criteria of the ICSA Labs IPSec Product Certification Program. The testing criteria represent their most thorough and rigorous certification process to date. In order to obtain this certification, xNSP had to meet a standard set of requirements for Internet Key Exchange (IKE) and IPSec protocols that deliver entity authentication, data integrity and confidentiality; and to meet the strict requirements of the ICSA Labs Cryptography Certification Criteria.

"We are very happy that xNSP has been certified by the ICSA Labs," said Pierre Garnier, chairman and chief executive officer, Everbee Networks. "Obtaining ICSA certification is a formal acknowledgement that our customers are assured of getting the best products possible because they meet the highest industry standards."
