New Christian, fiction author releases latest novel, but why did she mention a SPIDER? See Lee Ann Ward's latest work

Lee Ann Ward, Christian author of the novel "The Spider in the Well", announces the book's release and welcomes everyone to view the book's website at www.spiderinthewell.com and her author's league site at www.southernbelleauthor.com

(PRWEB) July 13, 2003 -- "The Spider in the Well" is a Christian, fiction novel that deals with courage and forgiveness in the face of tragedy. Here is a summary:

Paul Ford loves his life- playing football for the University of Minnesota, his God-fearing parents and rambunctious, younger brother, James- even his snobbish girlfriend, Tiffany. But, swift changes threaten to turn his world upside down. A tragic knee injury, a sudden break-up with Tiffany and Dads second heart attack all pose to shadow his steady faith in God and his dreams for the future.
And, he couldnt seem to shake his nightmares of a tragedy from the past. Why did the guilt have to haunt him now, when he needed comfort the most? He didnt mean for his baby brother to be hurt. It was an accident; an accident that seemed to shape his entire future, no matter how hard he prayed for forgiveness. Would God answer his prayer, or was his familys real nightmare just beginning? How could Paul find the strength to face... The Spider in the Well?

See what the reviewers are saying about "The Spider in the Well":

Reviewer Joyce Scarbrough, author of "True Blue Forever", says:

This is a beautifully written story that will catch you from the beginning like a literary spider's web. It's filled with passages that stir the spirit and warm the heart, and the story will stay with you long after you turn the last page.

Melody Ravert, author of "Shadow of Death", says:

A story so well told it could be true to life. How do we respond when we face challenges? It seems all at once there were stressful obstacles in Paul's life and only his faith in God will see him through. To add to these challenges, he is haunted by an accident from the past from which he desperately seeks to find peace. An excellent read! Inspirational fiction at its best!
