Calgary (PRWEB) July 13, 2003 -- Do you want to put your clunker out of its misery? By sending your old vehicle to Car Heaven" youll be helping the environment and supporting the Canadian Diabetes Association.

Car Heaven is an accelerated vehicle retirement program created with the aim of achieving measurable improvements to air quality by getting older, high-polluting vehicles off the road. To encourage participation, donors are offered a range of incentives, including a free tow ($200 value) and a charitable receipt. Donors are also entered into a variety of prize draws. Currently those who donate a vehicle before November 30th will have the chance to win a new low-emission Ford Focus, bicycles, or other prizes.

Donor cars are dismantled and properly recycled with proceeds supporting the Canadian Diabetes Association. Its hard to feel like you can make a difference but programs like Car Heaven have an impact." says Barbara Steinhoff, Director of Business Development for the Canadian Diabetes Association.
