Villa Fans Combined launch in depth fans survey
Football Fans Census have launched a one month survey into the thoughts and feelings of Aston Villa supporters. Prompted by the VFC umbrella supporters group, this survey will be a unique opportunity to measure the feelings of the supporters at large.
Villa Fans Combined are pleased to be working with respected football survey site www.footballfanscensus.com to find out exactly how fans of Aston Villa feel as customers of the club. We ask all fans of Aston Villa to complete the survey in order to give us even more information as to how the current set up is viewed. The more information we gain, the better the argument for a roots and branch change.
To complete the survey, visit the Football Fans Census site and click on the Villa link on the home page.
Again, like the Hodgson report (http://www.villafc.com/PR_20030628.html) , it is important to point out that The Football Fans Census are an independent organisation(see notes). We would also like to point out that subscriptions are available to the press and interested parties for complete report packages and ffc can be contacted via their website.
This in depth survey, which will develop over the month, is another positive step forward for VFC. VFC spokesman Jonathan Fear says, "this survey is just another step in showing the current board that the fans are not willing to sit and watch the club decline anymore. We have had the excellent Hodgson Report - Aston Villa PLC and are now looking from the grass roots level of the club. It is time for radical change and VFC won't rest until it is achieved."
VFC would also like to announce following our successful recent 'Testimonial Evening' (http://www.villafc.com/Testimonial/) for Ian Taylor and Alan Wright, that we have raised 750 for www.avids.co.uk and Ian Taylor has gratefully accepted their invitation to become their patron. Illustrating once more that VFC are a positive and constructive group. We would now like to challenge the board of Aston Villa to match the sum VFC have raised in order to double the donation to Avids. We will contact Mark Ansell in due course and look forward to a positive reaction.
