Writers offered new hope with SatireSearch multi-editor Satire Exchange

SatireSearch today officially unveiled their new Satire Exchange, to help bring satire writers and editors together. The new service, creating an automated Exchange for the submission and acceptance of satire articles aims to solve the common problems many writers seeking publication of their work face every day.

SatireSearch, the internet's leading news satire service today officially unveiled their new Satire Exchange, a service aimed at helping satire writers.

The Exchange, part of SatireSearch's community forum, offers satire writers the opportunity to submit their work to a wide range of satire editors who in turn benefit from a single source of satire article submissions.

"The Exchange has been running for a few weeks and has been an enormous success." Lead developer Danny Wakerley said. "Before we introduced the Exchange, writers would have to send their work via email to lots of editors, not knowing if any would accept them and unsure whether they should try somewhere else. Editors faced problems of accepting articles that had been submitted to many other sites risking publication of articles on more than one site. The Exchange, a simple coming together of both writers and editors, has solved this and we now find that instead of sitting on email submissions, editors are having to respond quickly to snap up the best articles before they are taken by another site. This has improved both the percentage of articles accepted for publication and the speed of acceptance. Like all our other services it is completely free for writers and editors and acts as part of our community approach to promoting satire."

The introduction of the Satire Exchange expands the wide range of satire services offered by SatireSearch, a community-based service running completely free of paid-ads.

SatireSearch, described as a pioneering service by About.com, one of the world's largest portals, powers satire across the internet with a mission to promote quality through community, not profits.
