Cerebrus Assumes Leadership Role in the Communications Fraud Control Association (CFCA)- Dennis Walters elected to the CFCAs Board of Directors

Phoenix-based CFCA is a global non-profit educational association that is working to combat telecommunications fraud. Its membership consists of service providers including wireless and wireline carriers, resellers, ISPs and industry consultants and vendors. CFCAs recent survey revealed annual worldwide telecom fraud losses to be in the range of $35-$40 billion U.S. dollars.

Dennis Walters has an extensive knowledge of fraud management and revenue assurance issues having served as Director of Risk Management for Comcast Cellular Communications Inc., and Director of Revenue Assurance, Horizon Cellular Group. Before entering the private sector, Dennis had a 23-year law enforcement career. As a new board member Dennis will focus on developing CFCAs clearinghouse information program and educating its members about fraud detection techniques in new generation services.
