New Consumer Service Recruiting Agents Across US

StateSide Pages begins signing up businesses across North America to its innovative combined listings and gaming service -- agents being sought to take on sales

14th July 2003 -- StateSide Pages, the combination listings and online gaming service, is to begin recruiting agents to roll out the listings across the country. Individuals and companies are currently being sought to take the service to the businesses in their region.

StateSide Pages offers visitors the traditional mix of online games -- card, puzzle, slot, word etc, but will combine these with the comprehensive listings database, both via the prize fund and through the use of geographic visibility and inclusion within the game operations (such as clue hunts and themed activities). By combining the two, the multi-million gaming community will have a strong incentive to utilise StateSide Pages listings.

Traditional cash prizes will sit alongside numerous 'hometown coupons and in-store redemptions that can only be spent with businesses included on StateSide Pages. The overall prize money is expected to be comparable to some of the top online casinos currently running.

Business sign-ups will be sought via traditional marketing and the use of a network of agents across the US. Already, early approaches to the business community have shown strong interest, and a desire from many individuals to become agents. The site will operate on percentages -- the $30 sign up fee per business will be divided between the agents, a prize fund for the games, marketing of the service and the running costs of the site.

Agents will receive a fee of $10 per sign up for new businesses and professionals. They will collect an additional $5 to $10 for every additional year that the sign-up remains with StateSide Pages. There are no minimum terms such as how many sign-ups need to be made, but there are incentives for individuals that succeed in securing high numbers of businesses for the service.

...2/ New Consumer Service Aims to Shift Listings Off the Page

Roy Preston, Founder of StateSide Pages, believes that the agents will have a strong offering to present to their regional businesses: Already there is a great deal of interest from individuals wishing to become agents -- particularly from those currently working in a sector they feel would be interested in this service. Thirty dollars is nothing when considered against the benefits of a close relationship with millions of online gamers, particularly as our prize structure is geared towards encouraging site visitors to use the listings. Do the math; $10 per business. 8 Million businesses in the US. That is significant earnings potential together with the residual payments, putting retirement within 4 years a real alternative.

Given the number of businesses across the US, the market for this is huge, and agents will have a free run at signing up anyone who is interested. We know that the StateSide Pages service is popular with businesses that are always looking to get closer to their customers. Current listings pages dont do this -- ours will."

The site will begin operating its gaming service this summer, and in anticipation of this, is now signing up businesses for the database. Companies paying for a 12 month inclusion prior to the services full launch will be offered a reduced sign-up fee, and a guarantee that their listing will run for a year from the date of launch.
